Hey all! I’ve been wanting to do another Chelsey curls tutorial, here it is – me in all my relaxed fixing my hair at home glory. I say “like”,”so”, and other things a billion times. Sorry for that pahaha! I also can’t control it but for some reason I raise my left eyebrow when I get in front of a camera.
In this video I am using Paul Mitchell’s express ion smooth flat iron. It’s a 1 1/2 width (correcting myself from the video), and has an adjustable heat setting which is always helpful! It’s on sale today and I’m linking it below!

Take aways from this are to not give the flat iron a death grip, leave some space so it can turn and not get stuck! Curl everything away from your face. Make sure flat iron is facing down towards the floor!
PRACTICE WITH FLAT IRON OFF! That’s the best advice I can give y’all haha!!!

Hey y’all! Finally hoping on to share these shorts with you guys! HOW CUTE ARE THEY?! Pink + floral!? = perfection!! They are also $17 so that makes them even better!
These photos were taken a little earlier last month so at the time I paired them with a white body suit, a jean jacket, some white sneakers and this adorable hair tie! Of course at this moment in Louisiana the heat is already full on and I would not pair with a jean jacket 😂
Either way a cute casual white top tucked in or out would be cute! I sized up in the shorts (because y’all know I’m all weird about having shorts/pants cut into your waist) but definitely didn’t need to! I’d say they run true to size!
I’m also going to take a moment to talk about the yummiest place to get a shake ever in life!!! Shake therapy!! okay, I am not one that gets to have sweets every night of the week, so when I get them I want it to be exactly what I want! Y’all, this place lets you literally build your own shake! You get to pick your ice cream base, things you want to add in it, what you want on the rim & what you want as toppings! Ummm a Nutella rim?! YES! I know I’m being a little dramatic, like hello Chelsey it’s just desert. But, it was that good, so I’ll own it!
I also get a lot of questions about my sneakers, I am sharing them below! They are around $80 and I absolutely love & get a lot of wear out of them! They are perfect to dress down an outfit or keep it casual and they are actually very easy to keep clean! Anytime I get stuff on them Ryan throws them in the wash machine for me and they are good as new!
Totally aware it’s Wednesday, butttt just go with it! Today’s Tuesday shoe day is dedicated to a more causal pair of kicks! They are a tad on the more pricey side too but they feel like heaven on your feet & the color is the most perfect color ever! – so, they are worth the splurge!
I would also recommend sizing up a full size because they are a more fabric type of shoe and it makes them fit a little tighter! I normally wear an 8, ordered an 8 1/2, and could have deff gone for the 9. I don’t actually go running in running shoes so this isn’t too big of a problem that they are a little snug 😂🤷🏼♀️.
Happy Tuesday guys! I’m finally back in the swing of things after my vacay and am ready to hit the ground running with some blog posts! I have some caaaauteeee stuff I’ve been holding out on, so … let’s dive right in!
Today I am sharing the cutest pants that I came across and just had to have!! They have a flowy girlie look to them and I love that! They can definitely be worn dressed up or down for different occasions! I love where they are hitting at the ankle and the way they split (p.s. this whole split pants thing is very in for summer, I’m sure there’s a real term for them but we’ll just roll with it)!
I paired them with the most PERFECT tuckable crop top! The feel, fit, & color of this crop top are going to make it very versatile for summer. It can be worn with anything high waisted in any color! Since I’m a little bustier in the chest I tend to like a tighter fitting shirt with a pair of flowy pants.
I would have rather wore these pants with a one strap ankle heel. However I left them at Krista’s House when we went to shoot. Sooo, my feet are cropped out of most of the pictures! I had to throw on whatever shoes I had in the car pahaha!!! I would wear a shoe just like what is pictured on the model!
I think this outfit is so cute for a summer function where you have to be a little more dressy casual! The pants are made pretty well and for the price I think they are a steal! I also sized up in the pants because they have an elastic band & that’s always one of my little tricks. If I’m wearing a tight tucked in top I want the waist band to be looser that way it’s not creating indent in my side. I also size up on most crop tops because ummmm, they are already small and I’m not 18 anymore so yea 😂 also my pants were supposed to be tied a little bit more and hide the elastic band but, ya can’t win them all right?! They also deff need to be steamed or ironed!
And before I forget I wanted to wish all the mommas reading a happy late Mother’s Day! I’m laughing to myself because I know a bunch of you have actually got my blog info from my fabulous momma! My mom is the best & I am so thankful for her constant love, support, & selflessness. She’s always been the person telling me I can make anything happen & I know if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be half of what I am today. So, to the rest of my family, friends, clients and blog readers that are mommas – I certainly hope y’all all had a great day yesterday because lawd knows y’all deserve it!
Okay, so I’m kinda sure I have maybe already done a blog post on this … however, I have had a margarita and am super into this product so I’m sharing again. Since I’m traveling and it’s a must bring, I feel like it’s necessary!
PAUL MITCHELL INVISIBLEWEAR DRY SHAMPOO. Y’all, I’m so obsessed & it’s only $18. I have never used anything that I instantly LOVED for my hair like this product. This whole new invisiblewear line Paul Mitchell has created is hands down my favorite line they have done so far (I plan on getting more into the line in a later post but for this moment we’ll just stick with the dry shampoo)!
They make a invisiblewear BLONDE & BRUNETTE dry shampoo. They have colors because if you take a normal dry shampoo and spray it all over a darker head of hair you will find that there is a light powdery residue that it leaves on the crown of the head (or wherever it has been sprayed). Paul Mitchell fixed this problem by creating a brown tinted powder, as well as a blonde tinted powder.
You would have never thought but this dry shampoo is working well to conceal grays in between color appointments too! Since this is doubling as a root touch up, I hear everyone that is using it raving about that aspect of it!!
I’d like to touch on one other thing about it that I love & then we’ll wrap it up! I also use this as a texture spray after I have just washed my hair. I know that sounds crazy?! I’m using a dry shampoo after I’ve washed my hair … BUT, since this is a powder like spray it give your hair crazy texture and volume! If you hate freshly washed hair lots of dry shampoos will give this affect, howeverrrrr, this dry shampoo in particular has proven to create MAJOR volume in hair!

so, in a nutshell, my main points for loving this product are 1) the formulation really works well for my hair. 2) the light color of the spray is actually nice because it lightens up my darker root in a very subtle way. 3) it gives crazy texture and volume.
Hey y’all! Blogging’ from Boston over here! I’ve sooo been waiting to share this hat with y’all from the second I got it! Okay, I’ve also been waiting to share the shirt too because I love it and it’s so comfy!
I couldn’t seem to get a good picture that I lovedddd enough to Instagram so y’all are just getting the picture on the blog lol! I think I am officially screwed because I am spoiled by Krista’s pictures! She is the freakin bestttt & now when I take a iPhone picture of a outfit I’m like…ew! Why does this look so crappy?! Obviously because it’s not taken on an professional camera. First world problems. I know! But just keeping it real!
Anyway, back to why we’re here! So, I paired my pink hat with a grayish white tie-up sweater tank & some white jeans! The top is supposed to be tight and kinda show your tummy & I didn’t want that walking around Boston so, I sized up! It ended up having a good relaxed fit! I threw on a jean jacket, because Boston is crazy and it’s 60 degrees here (aka freezing).
For shoes I went with my coolway espadrilles. YALL, I wore these ALL DAY walking around & they were SO COMFY! I am 110% a fan of these. I literally had no blisters anywhere and at no point did my feet hurt. I want them in every color now. I am officially obsessed with these because of their comfort level, their simplicity & their ability to work with a casual outfit or a dressy casual outfit! For the price of these I’m saying they are a must have shoe! I also think they are age appropriate for everyone!!!

These would be so cute with any type of top!! I really love them with a crop top because they are high waisted, making them not show your belly and it’s a good balance because it creates a short top with a wide bottom! This creates a flattering look!
The shirt that I am pairing the flares with here was perfect to me! It is meant to be a crop top & I loved that it had flare sleeves as well! The material of this shirt is light weight making it perfect for summer. It also will be so cute paired with jean shorts and some cute flats!!
These jeans come in tons of different washes, I’d pick by making them easy to go with something that would match the vibe of your closet or colors you most commonly wear!
Sizing in both of these items were normal to me! The only reason I may size up on the jean (or any jean) is to have a little extra movement in the band (so you don’t get a muffin top)!
Bottom line of this post, bell bottoms never go out of style!

Both of these tops would match these shorts paired with either a wedge to dress it up or even a white sneaker type shoe to give it a more relaxed vibe! The shorts are more flowy so I definitely think they need to be paired with a top that can be tied/knotted or with a tighter tucked in top!
